Permissions​

This plugin uses the permission system. To assign a permission, use oxide.grant <user or group> <name or steam id> <permission>. To remove a permission, use oxide.revoke <user or group> <name or steam id> <permission>.
  • tankcommander.use - Required to drive a tank
  • tankcommander.admin - Required to spawn a tank

Chat Commands​

  • /spawntank - Spawn a tank

Console Commands​

Console commands are mostly to use as a command purchase in GUI Shop or ServerRewards.

  • spawntank <playerID> - Spawn a tank on the specified players location
  • spawntank <x> <y> <z> - Spawn a tank at the specified location

Usage​

Entering and exiting tank​

Once you spawn a tank stand next to it and press the USE key. You can exit it at any time by pressing the same button.

Passengers​

If a tank has a operator other players can enter as a passenger by walking up along side it and pressing the USE key.

There is a hard limit of 4 passengers (plus driver) per tank

There are a few options regarding this in the config, such as FriendsAPI/Clans support, Maximum passengers and a option to disable this system.

Inventory​

While there is no operator in a tank you can access it's inventory by standing next to it and pressing the RELOAD key. This will be used for planned features in the future.

You can adjust the size of the inventory in the config.

Configuration​

The settings and options can be configured in the TankCommander file under the config directory. The use of an editor and validator is recommended to avoid formatting issues and syntax errors.

Configuration Options​

Button Configuration - These are buttons you can set for various functions. More functions will be added in the future such as firing weapons etc.

Available button types to use here are: JUMP, DUCK, SPRINT, USE, FIRE_PRIMARY, FIRE_SECONDARY, RELOAD, FIRE_THIRD

Crushable Types - Various entity types you can kill by running them over with the tank

Crushable Force - The amount of impact force between the tank and the object you are trying to crush to destroy it
