This mod was requested for a RPG server, they have since allowed me to publish the mod to get more tests done. This mod is mostly complete, but may require some bug fixes and optimization; user feedback would be appreciated. I have been completed this mod over 2 months ago so somethings are not as efficient as possible, so I will be working on this as my skills improve.

Chat Commands​

Players​

  • /pvp -- Check for a non-friend within limit; if so adds all near players to a PvP zone
  • /raid -- Check if there are any nearby enemy structures; if so creates a large PvP zone where building damage can be dealt, any one who enters this zone will be PvP active

Admin​

  • /antibandit debug [#] -- Toggle the debug system; values ranging from 0-3 (requires permission antibandit.debug and antibandit.admin)
  • /antibandit purge <true/false> -- Enable/disable purge mode. During this time, all PvP functions are normal

Permissions​

This plugin uses the permission system. To assign a permission, use oxide.grant <user or group> <name or steam id> <permission>. To remove a permission, use oxide.revoke <user or group> <name or steam id> <permission>.
  • antibandit.player -- Allows player to create /pvp or /raid zones; will be changing to antibandit.block(or simillar) to block greifers
  • antibandit.nocooldown -- Allows player to ignore cooldowns; useful for admin to create events (eg. event manager)
  • antibandit.admin -- Gives access to admin commands (currently only purge)
  • antibandit.debug -- Allows admin to enable the debug mode

Console Commands​

  • antibandit.purge <true/false> -- Toggle purge mode via console; allows control through other plugins such as timed plugins, zone commands, or NPCs

Configuration​

The settings and options can be configured in the AntiBandit file under the config directory. The use of an editor and validator is recommended to avoid formatting issues and syntax errors.
PVPZones: There are 3 zones that govern different paramaters for the chat command /pvp...

PvPZone1: This setting affect how close players need to be to other players for the mod to check the target, it will scan anyone within a sphere from that player.

PvPZone2: As PvP zones are private it will only register players who are in this zone, please make sure that this value is greater than PvPZone1 else you may create a zone with no players available.

PvPZone3: This is the max distance that the PvP zone is active, only players within this zone are able to do damage or receive damage, this allows people to run away and survive if they make it.

RaidZones: Raid zones only contain 2 zones as any player is allowed to do damage within these zones.

RaidZone1: This controls how close players have to be to a wall for the mod to check ownership.

RaidZone2: This setting affects the max distance of the damage, it is recommended to have it larger, players who are out of the zone can not be damaged or do damage, Please give a decent length as players could fire from outside and then walk in before a rocket hits and abuse the system.

Debug Mode​

  • /antibandit debug [#] -- Set the debug mode
    x range: 0= Debug off, 1= Debug Simple (Key points in console), 2= Debug extra (More points in console), 3= Full Debug (Shows values being returned from functions, also any message from debug 1 gets sent to chat).

Planned Features​

  • Automatic bight purge mode with config settings (eg. on/off, every night - every 7 nights...)
  • Look at a way to create a zone via console to allow mods like event manager to spawn a zone or other mods
  • Look at adding automatic support for mods like event manager
  • Balance debug messages to reduce spam at lvl 2
  • Create an automatic zone around airdrops
