Allows items dropped in the world to have buoyancy (ability to float in water) applied to them. You can configure the buoyancy globally for all dropped items, per item category, or per individual item. The more specific configuration takes priority.
Setting a buoyancy of -1 will ignore applying any buoyancy to the item. Ranges from 0.5 to 0.8 are normal, anything above 1 becomes comical.
Water Detection Rate sets at what frame rate to attempt to detect when an item has entered water to apply a buoyancy component to the worldmodel entity. Lowering this value increases the speed in which detection occurs, but could increase server latency slightly on high population servers. Increasing this value slows down the rate in which water is detected which can cause a larger "pond skipping" effect, but will be more performant.
